There's nothing like surfing the waves of California beaches. So pack your bags take your family and friends and head for a vacation that you will surely remember forever.  There regions of California each offer a unique experience whether you go North, South or Central - the beaches are all beautiful.

The sun shines the most in Southern California. The region boasts of miles and miles of white, sandy beaches most suitable for scuba diving, yachting, surfing, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, hiking, cycling and other adventure-type sports. And, when not surfing or swimming you can visit the incredible theme parks nearby like the Sea World, Wild Rivers, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knottsberry Farm and Universal Studios.

Central California beaches are ideal for extreme sports surfers. The waves rush to the cliffs in brilliant sheet of foams. With its tall trees and migrating monarch butterflies, the beaches of Central California are for nature lovers. Marine life like whales, sea otters, seals and sea lions thrive in theses coasts. Favorite sports here are kayaking, sailing, fishing, hiking and of course surfing. The Pacific fog cools the whole coast.

The Northern California coast is more for sight-seeing and picture-taking than for swimming. Rocky and jagged, the coasts seem uninviting but the wildlife present in the area thrives in their uninterrupted existence. It may be a good place to teach your kids about marine life and the forests.
